I am copying information forwarded by Dr. However, Latin didn't really come alive for me until I started working with the reading-intensive course Lingua Latīna per sē Illūstrāta by Hans Oerberg. Swain of Bemidji State University concerning two intensive language courses in Latin and Old English. I just placed an order for the book Latin: An Intensive Course (Moreland & Fleischer). So you can examine them before purchasing one. For me the grammar appendix in Moreland & Fleischer, Latin an Intensive Course, has been very useful. As they introduced an intensive, 30-week certification course focused exclusively on the cuisines of Latin America; this weekend, the program's very first students will graduate, diplomas and gleaming chef whites in hand. It will be a while before it arrives here, but I wanted to know what you guys think of it as a text. Is anyone here currently working from it? However, it is not so widely known that the absolute best and most complete Latin language textbook exists on CD: Latin: an intensive course / Moreland, Floyd L. While I was making Latinum, several people asked if I would make an audio course based on D'ooge's 'Latin for Beginners'. Beginning Latin (8 hours of instruction weekly, 21 May to 12 July 2013, with an optional three-week reading course thereafter). Textbook: Moreland and Fleischer, Latin: an Intensive Course.
